Julia is the Head of Experience & Design at Pumpkin, a pet care startup that's on a mission to make the best pet care possible fur all. She is the proud parent of 2 small dogs and very large cat, and a dedicated foster NYCACC kitten foster mom.

67% of shelter pets are adopted as adults. That means the majority of people that adopt an adult or senior dog never get to see a baby picture of their beloved pet. 

We started painting imaginary puppy and kitten portraits to give parents of rescue pets the chance to see what they have looked like before they were adopted. By creating these, I hope to raise awareness about the joy of adopting animals of all ages, while raising money to help more shelter pets find their furever homes.
